2日前から違和感のあった所が完全に口内炎になった。左の奧の頬と左側の下唇の2ヶ所同時。朝の国道の温度計はマイナス14度。寒いわけだ。

_メールは削除しない

ボクはメールは削除しない。周りの人の話しを聞いていると結構こまめにメールを削除している人が多い。たしかにMS OutlookやOutlook Expressだと1,000通を超えると動作がかなり遅くなっていた。このままでは駄目だと思い、Beckey!に乗り換えた。万単位のメールでもそのフォルダの中ではとても快適に動くし、他のフォルダには影響されない。というわけで、削除する必要性がまずなくなった。そうするとメリットが出てくる。仕事では1日前の事、1週間前の事、1ヶ月前のこと、1年前の事を思い出す必要が往々にしてある。そんな時にやりとりをメールとして残していると便利な場合が多い。それ以外でもボクはメールをレポジトリとしても利用している。一区切りついた段階のエクセルファイルなどを関係者に送付する事で送信済みフォルダにその時の内容が残る事になる。その後オリジナルは変更しても、その時の状態はメールに残っている。いちいち時系列のバックアップを他のメディアなどに取る必要がなくなるのだ。
